My approach...

Humanistic Integrative Counsellor MBACP. dip.

I have always felt a life supporting others would be a life well spent, and through my role as counsellor this is possible.

Building therapeutic alliances with clients has been a truly wonderful and humbling experience.

I am a humanistic Integrative counsellor - with a core focus in Person-centred therapy. This means I value the different schools of therapy, appreciating each for their own philosophy and unique methods they bring to psychotherapy. At my core however I am person-centred, believing that my clients autonomy should always remain at the front of the work that we do together.

You may find yourself interested in counselling for the first time, or may even have had experience with a counsellor before. People have their own unique reasons for attending counselling, and in my role I wish only to support you in talking through your thoughts and feelings, in confidence, in an effort to provide a place for you to reflect on patterns of thinking, difficulties, or even what you feel is holding you back and preventing change.

Remaining empathic, non judgemental and keeping a respectful manner, helps to build the foundations of a strong trusting relationship where you feel comfortable to share freely and honestly.

At the Blissful Fox, I charge £50.00 per counselling session, which last a duration of 50 minutes. Please feel free to email me if you are on a low income or a student counsellor in training.

If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
